Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huo Samja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samja pulls out of a head kick attempt.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lima. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Samja's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Lima is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Samja has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Samja!

Well Samja has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
