These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Eastman finds it's way through Zinfandel's defenses.

It looks like Zak Zinfandel has been cut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Zinfandel.
A head kick misses from Zinfandel.

Zinfandel throws a hook but Eastman blocks it.
A big left from Zinfandel misses.
Zinfandel throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Tyrone Eastman has been cut.

Nice combo by Eastman! Oh, that's hurt him - Zinfandel falls to the canvas and Eastman follows him into side control.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Eastman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Zinfandel can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Eastman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Zinfandel is looking to escape.

Eastman connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Zinfandel momentarily.
Eastman paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

That has opened up Zak Zinfandel's cut even more.
Eastman lands a nice looking body shot.
Eastman scores with a hook to the body. Zinfandel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Tyrone Eastman is winning the standup battle so far.

Eastman throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Zinfandel colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Eastman as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Zinfandel is left battered and dazed whilst Eastman and his camp cheer!
