The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt lands with a thumping leg kick.

Ironcrotch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Holt throws a leg kick which misses Ironcrotch's front leg but catches the back leg as Ironcrotch tries to avoid it.

Ironcrotch shoots in for a takedown but Holt shows good takedown defense.
Holt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ironcrotch fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Holt scores with a kick to the midsection.

Holt defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ironcrotch.

Ironcrotch drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Holt manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ironcrotch has Holt in his guard.

Holt has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ironcrotch has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Holt wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Ironcrotch.
Holt sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Ironcrotch is looking to take a break and control but Holt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ironcrotch misses with a head shot. Holt uses the momentum to regain guard.
Ironcrotch wants to control from the top but Holt keeps moving.
