Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eevertti Vasara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snagari Heijjari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasara comes to the cage accompanied by U Can't Touch This. Heijjari is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ratatat - Loud Pipes . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heijjari plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Vasara walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Heijjari checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Vasara throws a combination. Heijjari tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Snagari Heijjari has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vasara. Heijjari does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vasara bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Heijjari's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vasara lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Heijjari circles away quickly and effectively.
Vasara slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Heijjari throws a half hearted mid kick.
Vasara blocks a head kick by Heijjari.
Eevertti Vasara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vasara throws the left hand but Heijjari avoids the punch easily.
Heijjari has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Vasara throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Vasara lands a right hook to the body.
Heijjari's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Heijjari duly obliges.
No joy there for Vasara, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Heijjari throws and low kick but Vasara moves out of range easily.
Heijjari tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vasara swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vasara misses with a straight left.
Vasara throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The fight stays on the outside here - Heijjari looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Vasara throws a left that rocks Heijjari and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Vasara dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Heijjari regain composure!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Vasara decides to stand up, so the ref orders Heijjari to his feet.

Vasara bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Heijjari! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Heijjari is rocked!

Heijjari is working an open guard so Vasara takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Vasara tries to bum rush Heijjari with a series of wild strikes but Heijjari uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

A jab-cross combination lands for Vasara and sends Heijjari crashing to the mat! Vasara follows him down to the mat - Heijjari regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Heijjari is still in real trouble! Can Vasara finish him?

Vasara stands up out of the half guard.
Vasara dances in with a quick combination. Heijjari is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Vasara snaps Heijjari's head back. Heijjari stumbles backwards against the cage. Vasara steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Heijjari's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Heijjari just didn't come prepared.
