PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Omar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phillip Olsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phillip Olsen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pedro Omar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phillip Olsen!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Omar gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Olsen to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Omar is looking for a triangle but Olsen pushes his legs off easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Omar is trying to drag Olsen to the mat but Olsen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Phillip Olsen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Olsen winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
