Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uloste Lasse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luka Cervic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lasse shoots in for a takedown but Cervic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lasse shoots in but no luck this time.

Cervic closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cervic lands in his opponent's guard.
Cervic loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Lasse will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lasse shoots in but Cervic avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Cervic dives in and grabs Lasse's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lasse pushes down on Cervic's head and hops out.

Lasse really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lasse is staying active underneath Cervic, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lasse moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lasse stalks Cervic and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cervic's face. Cervic staggers backwards, shaken.
Lasse shoots in looking for a takedown. Cervic tries to sprawl out of it but Lasse keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cervic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
