Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Porter!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porter lands with a kick to the temple. Cross shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like John Cross has been cut.
Cross tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Porter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Porter keeps the fight on the outside.
Good exchange - Cross coming out on top.

Porter is rocked!
Porter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Porter misses with a few strikes there.
Jab by Porter.
Cross stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Porter.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Porter with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Cross moves in looking to clinch but Porter pushes him off.
Cross throws a head kick that misses
letting Porter counter with a right hand.
Cross takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Cross is rocked!
Cross bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Porter comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Cross falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Cross was out before he hit the floor!
