Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurtiz Larper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pit Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pit Bull is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kurtiz Larper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pit Bull!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Larper scores a takedown into full mount!
Larper thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Larper throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Larper looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Larper is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bull has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bull!
Bull slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bull prevents Larper from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bull wanted to stand there but Larper had control of the position.

Bull wants to control from the top but Larper keeps moving.

Larper lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bull!
Bull tries to hold on but Larper postures up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bull tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Larper moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bull has worked his arm free - good work by Bull!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Larper working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Bull manages to get back to half guard.

Larper is working for a submission of some sort.
Larper is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Larper is breathing heavily.
Bull manages to get to full guard.

Larper stands up and waves to Bull to follow him.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bull gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Larper to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Larper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bull on the ground.

Bull is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Larper is aware though and is defending well.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Larper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Larper wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bull, who protects the arm well.
Larper postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Larper looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Bull parries the strikes from Larper easily there. Larper is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bull to escape.

Larper is trying to get an arm triangle but Bull is defending well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Larper goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bull rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Larper's guard! Nice work there by Bull!

Bull advances position into side control!
Bull misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Bull wants to lay and pray for a moment but Larper keeps working.
You can see the frustration on Larper's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bull trying to control the position but Larper is working away.
Bull has knee on belly momentarily but Larper bucks him off and regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Larper is trying to maintain the position but Bull is very close to passing his half guard.
Bull stops Larper from getting back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Larper drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bull wants to sweep but no luck.

Larper stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Bull misses with a takedown

and Larper counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bull!

Larper with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Larper working for a submission but Bull is keeping him at bay.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Larper lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Larper has control of Bull's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bull regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Bull blocking the ground and pound.

Larper get's back to his feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bull can't do much from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kurtiz Larper dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!



Larper shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bull manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Larper wants to stand but Bull is controlling his posture from full guard.
Bull is trying to keep Larper in close.

Larper stands up and waves to Bull to follow him.
Kurtiz Larper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Larper is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bull's half guard.

Bull is defending against the submission attempts here by Larper.

Larper tries to pass to full mount but Bull defends it.
Larper is stalling here. Bull is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Larper seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bull has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Bull wants to take a breather but Larper manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Bull.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Larper working for a triangle but Bull defends it easily.
Bull tries to free his leg and advance position but Larper is retaining full guard.
Larper looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Larper bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bull's guard.

Larper drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Larper jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Larper has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Bull wants to sweep here but Larper controlling him for the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bull gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kurtiz Larper is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Larper slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Larper wants to pass the guard but Bull is keeping the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kurtiz Larper showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Larper has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
