Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rain tries to avoid it but Gomez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rain to the ground. Rain escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gomez shoots in but Rain avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rain lands a nice shot to the body.
Gomez doesn't manage to clinch there - Rain circles away.
Gomez shoots in for a takedown but Rain shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Johnny Rain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Gomez.
Rain stuns Gomez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gomez clinches.
Gomez tries to pull guard but Rain holds him up against the cage and eventually Gomez drops back down to his feet.
Gomez drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gomez looks gassed!
A frustrated look appears on Rain's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Gomez stops a takedown attempt from Rain.
Gomez tries for a takedown. No joy.
Gomez gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rain.
Gomez wants a takedown but no success here.
Gomez goes for a takedown attempt but Rain pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rain shoots and misses
and Gomez counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rain won't be happy with that.
Rain tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Rain is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gomez's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Rain has his hands clasped together around Gomez's back. He's all about the action.
Rain pushes Gomez off looking to stand but Gomez dives back in and keeps control.
Rain is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gomez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gomez's back!
Rain controls the action.
Gomez is trying to get back to his feet but Rain has full control of the position and if anything, Gomez has just worked his way into a worse spot.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rain has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Gomez's body.

Rain trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Rain has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Gomez is in real trouble here. Rain gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Gomez is tapping out! Rain wins by rear naked choke!
