The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
alverz throws a right and a left that Park avoids nicely.
alverz takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
A swing and a miss from Park.
alverz doesn't manage to clinch there - Park circles away.
alverz shoots in for a takedown but Park shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Park throws a series of punches but alverz moves out of range.
alverz fails with a takedown attempt.
Park scores with a one two! alverz had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Jin Park seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by alverz or perhaps it was just good defense by Park which made him look bad.
Jin Park has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of eddie alverz.
alverz shoots in but Park avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Park lands a left and a right that send alverz crashing to the mat, dazed. Park thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
