Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Blair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bravo's choice of entrance music: Break Stuff. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Johnny Bravo enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arthur Blair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Bravo!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blair looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Blair counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Blair.
Blair stands up over Bravo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bravo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Blair explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Bravo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bravo there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Blair counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Blair scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bravo doesn't seem bothered though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Blair tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Bravo counters with a takedown into side control.
Blair tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bravo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bravo throws a strike aimed at the side of Blair's head but Blair avoids it well.
Blair wants to control but Bravo postures up.
Blair sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Bravo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Bravo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Bravo is trying to control. Blair wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Johnny Bravo will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Blair tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Blair feints and as Bravo raises his hands in defense, Blair changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Bravo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Blair's guard.

Bravo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Blair forces Bravo back against the cage and clinches.
Blair can't break the clinch.
Blair is trying to force a seperation but Bravo has the dominant position.
Blair jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bravo walks away with a smile on his face. Blair gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bravo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Blair.

Blair moves into the clinch.
Blair has had enough of the clinch but Bravo keeps him there for the moment.

Bravo pulls guard effortlessly.

Bravo looking for a guillotine here but Blair defends easily.
Bravo looking for a sweep. Not yet Bravo, not yet.
Blair controls from within his opponent's guard.
Bravo trying to control the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Blair stands and steps away. Bravo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Blair tries to pull guard but Bravo holds him up against the cage and eventually Blair drops back down to his feet.
Blair wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Blair tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Blair. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bravo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Well Blair has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
