Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Egzavea Madden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Vicious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sid Vicious has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Egzavea Madden's chin.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Madden shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Madden showed some decent athleticism there.
Madden is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Vicious reverses the position - he's now on top in Madden's guard.
Vicious trying to control but Madden is working from the bottom.
Vicious is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Vicious drops back looking for a leg! Madden is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Madden manages to kick Vicious off! Vicious jumps back into Madden's guard.
Vicious is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Madden escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vicious gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Madden keeping moving, preventing Vicious from controlling successfully.
Vicious must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Sid Vicious just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Madden looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Vicious scores with a decent looking hook.
Vicious connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Madden closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Vicious did well to prevent Madden getting side control.
Vicious is controlling Madden's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Madden is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Vicious cracks Madden with a right hand to the side of the head.
Madden fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Vicious lands with a nice combination. Madden backs away looking to recover.
Vicious is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Vicious scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Sid Vicious seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Madden looks for a takedown but Vicious sprawls well.
Vicious getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Madden shoots in looking for a takedown. Vicious tries to sprawl out of it but Madden keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vicious manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Egzavea Madden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Vicious stuns Madden with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Vicious lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Vicious lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Madden tries for a takedown but Vicious sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Vicious dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Madden takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Madden shoots in for a takedown but Vicious shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Vicious ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Vicious moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Madden scores a takedown into full mount!

Madden goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Vicious turns into him and now he's in Madden's guard.
Madden might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vicious controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Vicious drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Madden manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Vicious has Madden in his guard.
Madden stops Vicious from standing up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Madden seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Madden is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sid Vicious showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Madden bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Madden just content to control the position.

Madden is trying to get an arm triangle but Vicious is defending well.
Vicious is looking for a sweep.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Madden tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Vicious tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Madden presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Vicious is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Madden can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vicious is looking to escape.

Madden controlling the position well here. Vicious rolled but Madden kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Madden is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Vicious is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Madden.

Madden is hanging on to Vicious's back as he tries to escape.
Vicious looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
I would not like to be Vicious right now.
