Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Megga Horse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Megga Horse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brock Steel!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horse tries to clinch there but Steel circles away.
Steel thumps Horse with a low kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Steel crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Horse - the referee stops the clock and Steel gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Horse. Steel manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Steel tries to keep at a distance but Horse has taken the fight into the clinch.

Horse is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Horse has clasped his hands together around Steel's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Horse decides to stand back up. Horse steps back and let's Steel get back to his feet.
Steel throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Brock Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Horrible takedown by Horse or perhaps it was just good defense by Steel which made him look bad.
Horse tries to clinch but Steel moves out of range.
Horse shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Steel as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Megga Horse. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Steel throws a head kick that misses.
Horse misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Steel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Steel lands a high kick!
Steel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Horse shoots in looking for a takedown. Steel tries to sprawl out of it but Horse keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Steel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Steel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Horse is breathing heavily.
Steel throws a head kick but Horse moves out of range.
Steel is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Steel scores with a nice body kick.
Horse changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Steel tries to avoid it but Horse manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Steel to the ground. Steel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Horse looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Steel lands with a hook. Horse tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
No joy there for Steel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Horse blocks a head kick by Steel.
Steel bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Steel avoids the head kick by Horse.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Steel.

Steel goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Horse misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Steel with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Steel moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Steel is looking to clinch.
Good leg kick by Steel there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Steel. Horse shrugs it off though.
Steel throws a sloppy head kick and Horse moves out of range easily.

Horse takes a body punch but keeps moving.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Steel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Horse steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Steel. That one must have hurt.

Horse avoids the head kick by Steel.

Steel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horse showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Steel.
Steel throws a series of strikes that have Horse backpedaling.
Horse has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Steel scores with a push kick.
A punch combination from Steel misses.
Steel digs a good body shot into Horse's ribs.
A right-left combo lands from Steel.
Steel lands with a nice body kick.

Steel moves in looking to clinch but Horse pushes him off.

Steel fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Horse.
Horse avoids the head kick by Steel.

Steel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Horse, pushing him back against the cage.
Horse blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Steel is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Horse is defending well for now.
Steel wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Horse lands an elbow inside.
Horse will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Horse breaks from the clinch.
Steel walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Horse checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Horse looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Horse has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Horse takes one to the side of the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Steel wants to clinch up but Horse keeps it at a distance.
A chopping leg kick lands by Steel.
Steel lands with a kick to the temple. Horse shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Horse's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Steel can do anything to dispel that myth.

Horse manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Horse is on top in guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Steel has his hands on Horse's head, controlling the position.
Horse working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Steel sneaks out the side door and pushes Horse away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Horse throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Steel's waist but Steel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Horse off to one side.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Steel lunges at Horse with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Horse's hand.

Horse looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Steel stalks Horse and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Horse's face. Horse staggers backwards, shaken.

Steel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Horse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Horse moves into full mount! Steel won't be happy about that!

Horse is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Steel to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Steel shrugs it off.

Brock Steel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Steel has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
