Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stew Grif (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nascimento comes into the arena with Remember The Name Remix blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stew Grif!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grif closes the distance and pushes Nascimento back into the cage.
Grif breaks the clinch.
Grif tries to close the distance and clinch but Nascimento swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nascimento shoots in looking for a takedown. Grif tries to sprawl out of it but Nascimento keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grif manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stew Grif seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nascimento looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nascimento closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nascimento shoots in for a takedown but Grif shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thiago Nascimento. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nascimento tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grif swivels and escapes.
Grif throws a nice inside leg kick.
Nascimento is breathing heavily.
Nascimento avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Grif breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nascimento has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Grif regains guard immediately.
Grif is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Grif wriggles free and stands up.
A nice inside leg kick there by Grif. That's going to slow Nascimento down.
Grif connects with a superb combination that knocks Nascimento out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Grif before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Nascimento!
