Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Diego Gonzalez Ortega!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez Ortega shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Growth is looking to escape.
Growth is not content to let Gonzalez Ortega control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gonzalez Ortega working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Growth's thigh. Growth counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Gonzalez Ortega trying to control but Growth is working from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Growth wants to stand and escape but Gonzalez Ortega is having none of it.
Gonzalez Ortega wants to stand but Growth has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Gonzalez Ortega lands an overhand right.

Gonzalez Ortega looks to land a left hand but Growth moved out of range nicely.
Gonzalez Ortega shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Growth pinned against the cage. Growth gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Growth lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Gonzalez Ortega crumples to the floor! Growth milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
