Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to clinch up but Bulaun circles away and keeps his distance.
Gracie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gracie tries for a kimura but Bulaun is defending well.

You can see the frustration on Bulaun's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bulaun tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bulaun doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Gracie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
