The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy cracks Willington with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Willington avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McCarthy misses with a takedown attempt - Willington sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
McCarthy misses with a head kick.
Willington throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
McCarthy looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Willington shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McCarthy defends it nicely.
McCarthy wants to clinch.
Willington swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Willington throws a head kick that McCarthy semi-blocks.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCarthy trying to control but Willington flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McCarthy trying to control the action but Willington just sinks the hooks in.
Willington could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Willington connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for McCarthy to escape the position.
