Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Kris Savage enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Daley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kris Savage!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Daley shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Savage is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Daley pulls his head out easily.

Daley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Savage with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Savage manages to get to full guard.

Savage is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Savage working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Daley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Savage wants to stand and escape but Daley is having none of it.

Daley drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Daley jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Savage is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Daley looks like he's trying to stand up.
Daley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Savage on the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Daley tries to get to full guard but Savage has control of the leg.

Savage is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Daley is just riding it out for now. Savage eventually gives up the hold.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Savage prevents Daley from standing back up.
Savage tries to pass the half guard into mount. Daley knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Daley wants to improve his position but Savage is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Daley keeping hold of Savage's head, controlling as best he can.

Savage is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Daley has managed to free his arm - good work.
Savage tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kris Savage dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Savage gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Savage is trying to keep Daley in close.

Daley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Savage has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Daley has managed to get both his arms back between Savage's legs - danger averted.
Daley passes Savage's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Daley is looking to take a break and control but Savage is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Savage is trying to get back to full guard.

Savage pushes Daley off and gets back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Daley fails in his attempt to clinch.

Daley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Savage explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

and Daley counters with a single leg into guard. Savage didn't expect that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Daley is posturing up here but Savage has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Daley tries to roll out but it's too tight and Daley has to tap! Slick submission there by Savage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kris Savage!
