The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magano looks for a takedown but Turk sprawls well.

Magano is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Turk is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Magano swings around for an armbar but Turk sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Magano's guard.
Magano has a closed guard, preventing Turk from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Magano is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Turk is looking to stand up but Magano won't let him.
Magano is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Magano shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turk but Turk pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Turk scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A cross from Turk lands.
Magano takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Turk misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Magano on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Turk throws a right hand that Magano ducks under and follows up with a left that Magano also avoids with ease.

Magano shoots in but Turk avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Horrible takedown by Magano or perhaps it was just good defense by Turk which made him look bad.

Magano shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Magano takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Turk connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Turk works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Turk circles away from the clinch attempt.
Magano is breathing heavily.
Magano tries to close the distance and clinch up but Turk swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Turk looks to land a combination. Magano sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kristopher Magano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Turk cracks Magano with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Magano shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Turk sprawls well. Turk wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Magano gets slowly back to his feet.

Magano is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Turk lands a left and a right that send Magano crashing to the mat, dazed. Turk thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Turk throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Magano on the side of the head.

Turk lands a left and a right that send Magano crashing to the mat, dazed. Turk thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Magano seems to have recovered his senses.
Turk is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Magano can do to turn this around?
Turk scores with a one two! Magano had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Magano throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Turk's waist but Turk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Magano off to one side.
Magano has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Turk throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Magano stumbling backwards into the cage! Magano bounces back off the cage towards Turk, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Turk lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Turk celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
