The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zmija fails with the takedown.
Zmija shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Smith as he avoids it easily.

Smith lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Smith wants to get back to striking at distance but Zmija won't allow it.

Zmija is really struggling to control Smith but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Smith is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Zmija tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zmija moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Horrible takedown by Zmija or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith which made him look bad.
Zmija shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smith as he jumps to the side.
Smith throws an overhand right that has Zmija reeling! Smith follows up with a more punches and Zmija is out cold! This one is all over!
