The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green shoots in but no luck this time.
Green throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Murdock's waist but Murdock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Green off to one side.
Murdock tries to clinch there but Green circles away.

Wayne Murdock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Green.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Green wants to sweep here but Murdock controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Murdock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Green doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Green manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Green must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Murdock is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Green decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Murdock's guard.
Murdock is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Green flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Green manages to get to full guard.
Murdock advances position into side control!

Murdock has hold of Green's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Green seems comfortable defending it but Murdock has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Green is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Green is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Murdock couldn't care less - he's delighted!
