Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ollie Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Williams. That's going to slow Couture down.
Williams feints and then cracks Couture's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Couture down.
Williams swats away the attempt to clinch by Couture.
Couture takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Williams throws a body punch but Couture moves out of range.
Couture shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side.
A jab lands there for Williams.
Couture just misses with a punch to the body.
Williams scores with a crisp jab that stopped Couture in his tracks.
A jab from Williams does it's job there.
Williams lands with a shot to the body.
Couture clinches with his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Williams lands a nice uppercut.
Couture wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Williams lands a right hand.
Couture has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Williams regains guard immediately.

Couture drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Williams manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Couture has Williams in his guard.
Couture pulls Williams in close to prevent any damage.
Couture wants to control the position but Williams says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Couture won't allow Williams to pass to mount.
Couture is trying to maintain the position but Williams is very close to passing his half guard.
Couture is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Williams stands up from half guard.
Couture gets a takedown into half guard.
Williams is trying is best to control the position here.

Williams is looking to improve his position.
Williams won't allow Couture to pass to mount.
Williams on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Williams is looking to control Couture's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Williams avoid being mounted?
Couture is nestled in close to Williams, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Couture is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Williams looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams is looking to improve his position.
Williams has one foot on Couture's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Couture closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Ollie Williams dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nice uppercut lands for Williams. That snapped Couture's head back.
Couture doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.
Williams darts in and clinches Couture up against the cage.
Couture's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Couture keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Couture shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily.
Williams has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Couture throws the kick towards the body but Williams avoids it.
Couture closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Couture tries for a takedown but Williams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Williams, as that shot connected.
Williams stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Williams wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodney Couture. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams throws an overhand right that lands on Couture's shoulder, as Couture tries to avoid the shot.
Williams throws a lazy right hand but Couture sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Couture shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williams pinned against the cage. Williams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Couture shoots for a takedown but Williams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Couture shoots for a double leg takedown but Williams sprawls well. He's pushed Couture's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Couture shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Couture wants to get back to striking at distance but Williams won't allow it.

Williams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Williams cracks Couture with a good jab.
It looks like Rodney Couture has been cut.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ollie Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Williams jabs at Couture's body.
Nice body punch from Williams.
Williams throws a quick inside leg kick.
A lazy left from Williams finds it's target.
Couture walks into a jab.
Couture has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Couture there as he acknowledges the shot.
Couture is rocked!
Couture tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes.
Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Williams lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Williams throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Couture stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Williams lands a left and a right that send Couture crashing to the mat, dazed. Williams thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Couture is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Williams clinches with his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Couture is trying to drag Williams to the mat but Williams just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Couture seems to have got his legs back now.
Williams creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Couture's defenses.
Rodney Couture's cut is getting worse.
Williams lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Knees in the clinch landing for Williams.
Williams lands an elbow that stopped Couture in his tracks for a moment.
Williams lands a right hand that snaps the head of Couture backwards.
Couture wants to break the clinch but can't.
Couture wants to break free but Williams has control.
Williams is struggling to control the position.
Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Couture throws a leg kick
and Williams counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Couture tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes.
Williams rushes Couture and presses him up against the cage.
Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Couture tries to keep at a distance but Williams has taken the fight into the clinch.
Williams gets through Couture's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Williams lands with a right to the head.
Williams makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Williams slowing the pace effectively.
Couture jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Williams walks away with a smile on his face. Couture gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Couture doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.
Williams steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Couture.
Couture gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Couture takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Couture tries to clinch but Williams moves away
and Williams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rodney Couture's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Williams just misses with a punch to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Williams moves in looking to clinch but Couture pushes him off.
Couture looks to throw the jab but Williams is out of range.
Couture moves forwards but Williams connects with a nice, crisp jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ollie Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Rodney Couture's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Williams connects with a single shot there.
Williams circles away from the clinch attempt.
Couture takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ollie Williams seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Horrible takedown by Couture or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams which made him look bad.
Williams throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Nice uppercut there from Williams.
Williams lands a nice shot that snaps Couture's head back.
Williams leaves Couture with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A head kick by Couture misses
and Williams counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circle momentarily. Williams darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jeez, Rodney Couture's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Couture loses concentration momentarily and Williams pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Couture crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Williams finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ollie Williams!
