Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonah Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Kimbo Slice has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice throws a right and a left that both miss.
Slice misses with a few strikes there.

Jones shoots in and bounces Slice off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Slice is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him.
Slice could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Slice wants to stand but Jones is controlling the position.
Slice will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jones wants to stand but Slice is controlling his posture from full guard.
Jones prevents Slice from getting back to his feet.
Slice knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Slice lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. Slice thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Jonah Jones has been cut.

Slice gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones.
Slice is breathing heavily.
Slice wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Slice is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jones postures up in Slice's guard and throws a big left but Slice blocks it.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Slice wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Slice misses with a double jab

and Jones moves into the clinch.

Slice goes for a takedown attempt but Jones pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Jones shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Slice manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jones throws a big right hand that misses.
Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Jones stops Slice from standing up.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Slice is keeping the position.
Slice is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Slice throws a combination that misses

Slice wants to get back to striking at distance but Jones won't allow it.
Slice tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position.

Jones has clasped his hands together around Slice's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Jones is trying to get an arm triangle but Slice is defending well.
The strikes coming from Jones are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Jones wants to control but Slice is keeping him busy.
Slice is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Slice is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Slice is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jones is controlling him well.

Jones has an Americana. Slice didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Jones is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jones hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
