The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manfredo Jr connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like David Dayley has been cut.
Manfredo Jr misses with the combination.

Manfredo Jr clinches up against the cage.
Manfredo Jr wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dayley has him pressed against the cage.
Manfredo Jr wants to break the clinch but can't.
Manfredo Jr is trying to break free.

Dayley prevents a takedown attempt there.
Manfredo Jr is trying to force a seperation but Dayley has the dominant position.

Manfredo Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
No luck for Dayley with that takedown attempt.

Manfredo Jr fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dayley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Manfredo Jr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dayley takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

That has opened up David Dayley's cut even more.
Manfredo Jr rushes Dayley with punches - Dayley moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Dayley goes down! Manfredo Jr follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
