Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz looks to land a combination but Rakkers avoids it well.
Diaz throws a nice looking combination but Rakkers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Diaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Diaz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rakkers circles away quickly and effectively.

Diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Diaz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Diaz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice shot lands for Diaz.
Diaz throws a right and a left that both miss.

Diaz gets a takedown into half guard.
Rakkers wants to improve his position but Diaz is controlling well.

Diaz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rakkers has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Diaz is working away from the top position though.

Rakkers is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Diaz has latched onto it... Big trouble! Diaz pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Rakkers is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Diaz!
