Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smasher Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drunken Pride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Money kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Gives You Hell. Money is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Smasher Money has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pride misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Money is breathing heavily.
Money tries to clinch but Pride moves out of range.

Pride thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Money if he has to take too many more of those.

Pride feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Money is trying to maintain the position but Pride is very close to passing his half guard.

Pride looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Money wants to hold on but Pride pushes him away.
Pride cracks Money with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Pride has control of Money 's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Money regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Pride lands a big shot there that rocks Money but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Money is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Pride has taken his back.
