PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Cimientos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bravo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Break Stuff kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cimientos is fending him off so far but Bravo persists. Nope, Cimientos circles away and we're back to standing.

Bravo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bravo closes the distance and clinches up with Cimientos, looking for a takedown. Bravo pushes Cimientos against the cage but Cimientos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cimientos throws a strike but Bravo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bravo tries to stand but Cimientos is controlling from the bottom.

Bravo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Cimientos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bravo manages to get himself to full guard.

Cimientos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bravo walks away with a smile on his face. Cimientos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cimientos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cimientos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Bravo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bravo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bravo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cimientos has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Bravo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cimientos is looking to escape.

Cimientos is squirming around, avoiding Bravo's attempts to control the action.
Cimientos tries to hold on but Bravo pushes him away.

Bravo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Cimientos is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Cimientos and Bravo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
