And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luis Washington!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dixon shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Dixon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Washington defends it well.
Washington is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Washington shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Washington showed some decent athleticism there.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Washington connects with a nice short shot to Dixon's temple.

That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Washington! Submission of the night perhaps?
