Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Remedy by Cold. Jim Foster has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamie Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Foster!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Foster both land. Nice combination.

Foster shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lewis is trying to escape back to his feet but Foster uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Lewis is looking to reverse the position.
Lewis taking punishment in the form of punches.
Lewis is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Foster is controlling him well.
Foster creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Lewis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Foster tries for a kimura but Lewis is defending well.

Foster cracks Lewis with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Foster is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lewis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Lewis is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Foster has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Foster closes the distance and clinches.
Lewis working aggressively here.

The referee is keeping an eye on Lewis - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Lewis swings wildly with an uppercut but Foster uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lewis is trying to break the clinch but Foster is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lewis throws a punch but it's blocked by Foster.

Lewis wants to stand but Foster is controlling the position.
Foster pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lewis is keeping the position for now.
Lewis is looking to stand back up but Foster counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Lewis.
Foster lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Foster frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Foster looking to secure an arm triangle but Lewis defends it well.

Lewis wants to use the ropes to get back to his feet here.
Foster trying to control but Lewis is having none of it.

Lewis tries to buck Foster off but he can't manage it.
Foster lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Foster cracks Lewis with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lewis can't escape the position.
Lewis is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
The referee warns Lewis that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Lewis wants to try and get back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lewis keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lewis tries to buck Foster off but he can't manage it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Foster lands a big shot there that rocks Lewis but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Foster in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Lewis is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Foster pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Lewis is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Foster can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lewis is looking to escape.

Jim Foster showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Foster closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Jamie Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lewis throws a combination that misses
and Foster counters with a one-two to the body.
Lewis is looking to clinch but Foster is avoiding it.
Foster shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lewis as he jumps to the side.
Lewis closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Lewis swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Foster counters with a series of strikes. Lewis will be more careful next time no doubt.
Foster lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Foster clinches.
Lewis gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Foster.
Foster has Lewis pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Lewis manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jamie Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Foster.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Foster.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lewis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Foster manages to break the clinch.

Foster shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Foster was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Foster is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lewis can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lewis trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Jim Foster is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Jim Foster comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Foster has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
