Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nat Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lae Praye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Praye has chosen Carry That Weight as his entrance music. Lae Praye is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner just misses with a punch to the body.
Nat Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Turner connects with a crisp jab.

Praye throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Turner was covering up waiting for the punch and Praye finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Praye throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Praye accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Turner throws a right and a left that both miss.
Praye lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Turner circles away quickly and effectively.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Turner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Praye darts in and clinches Turner up against the cage.
Praye is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Turner gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Turner takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Praye shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Turner's guard.
