Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aram kentikyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noynoy Aquino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aquino works over kentikyan's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Aram kentikyan has been cut.
Horrible takedown by Aquino or perhaps it was just good defense by kentikyan which made him look bad.
kentikyan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by kentikyan.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
kentikyan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Aquino fails with the takedown.
kentikyan tries a head kick but it misses.

kentikyan lands on the inside with an uppercut.

kentikyan has hold of one of Aquino's legs. Aquino is fighting the takedown attempt but kentikyan gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
kentikyan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

kentikyan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

kentikyan stands and steps away. Aquino gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

kentikyan throws a series of strikes that have Aquino backpedaling.

Aquino gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
kentikyan looking to sit in guard and control but Aquino gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

kentikyan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aquino defends it easily.
kentikyan throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
kentikyan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Aquino!
Aquino regains half guard.

kentikyan decides to stand up.
Aquino is trying hard to land a takedown here. kentikyan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and kentikyan counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Aquino is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and kentikyan counters by clinching up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

kentikyan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

kentikyan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

kentikyan postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Aquino to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

kentikyan drives through with a takedown into guard.

Aquino is working an open guard so kentikyan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Aquino will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

kentikyan clinches up with Aquino and pushes him back against the cage.

kentikyan gets control of Aquino's arms and successfully pulls guard. kentikyan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

kentikyan is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Aquino has his hands clasped together but kentikyan extends an breaks Aquino's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by kentikyan.
