Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob McGrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Haidar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haidar lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Haidar.


It looks like Bob McGrady has been cut.

McGrady throws a low kick but Haidar avoids it.

McGrady throws a leg kick but Haidar sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Haidar scores with a hook to the body. McGrady takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

McGrady throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Haidar was covering up waiting for the punch and McGrady finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McGrady changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Haidar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The strikes coming from McGrady are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
McGrady is looking to take a break and control but Haidar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
McGrady prevents Haidar from escaping the position.
McGrady misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

McGrady cracks Haidar with a big right hand but Haidar just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

McGrady lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
McGrady is landing with some decent strikes but Haidar is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
