Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinnie St Croix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nigel Wigum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinnie St Croix had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Wigum. No joy for St Croix on that attempt.

St Croix might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Wigum goes for an armbar but he's not got it… St Croix turns into him and now he's in Wigum's guard.

Wigum lands a big shot there that rocks St Croix but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

I looks like Wigum might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
St Croix is in a horrible position here. Wigum smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Wigum gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Oh St Croix is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wigum lands an uppercut, right on the button! St Croix tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
