Cuschenko has chosen T.A.T.U - Prostye Dvizhen'ya as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Cuschenko.

Cuschenko moves into the clinch successfully.
York is working for takedown but Cuschenko is calmly controlling the position for now.

Cuschenko has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but York regains guard immediately.
York is breathing heavily.
York utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Cuschenko distracts York with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Cuschenko is in close to York's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Cuschenko is nestled in close to York, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Cuschenko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
