Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wood Chimera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres has chosen Remember the name as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chimera fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Chimera throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Torres's waist but Torres gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chimera off to one side.
Torres throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Torres goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Wood Chimera has been cut.
Torres misses with a double jab.
Torres leaves Chimera with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Chimera shoots for a double leg takedown but Torres sprawls well. He's pushed Chimera's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Torres throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chimera stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Torres lands a nice hook to Chimera's body. Chimera takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chimera in particular looking to stall.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Torres can do anything to dispel that myth.
