PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damon Paige (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paige tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Paige is on top in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Paige is cranking Silva's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Silva! He's tightened the choke and Silva is tapping out!
