The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magas regains half guard there - taking advantage of Hirvonen's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Hirvonen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Magas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hirvonen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Magas won't allow Hirvonen to pass to mount.
Magas regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Hirvonen.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hirvonen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Magas manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hirvonen has Magas in his guard.
