Claude tries for a takedown but Madland sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Madland scores with a leg kick.
Claude with a nice cross.
Claude shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Madland pinned against the cage. Madland gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Claude fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jean Claude. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Claude wants to clinch.
Madland misses with the combination.
Madland goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Claude showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Madland.
Madland misses with a few strikes there.
Madland pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Madland tries a head kick but it misses.
Claude moves out of range as Madland throws a body kick.
Claude has taken the fight to the clinch.
Claude is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Madland gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Madland manages to break the clinch.
Claude tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Madland paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Madland stuffs the takedown attempt from Claude. Claude gets slowly back to his feet.
Madland lands a left and a right that send Claude crashing to the mat, dazed. Madland thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Claude is rocked!
It looks like Jean Claude has been cut.
Claude dodges the punch combination from Madland.
Madland lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Claude crumples to the floor! Madland milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
