The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Summers throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Marader was covering up waiting for the punch and Summers finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Summers trying to control the position from guard on top but Marader is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Marader is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Summers trying to control but Marader is working from the bottom.
Summers content to stall in guard here.

Marader looking for a guillotine here but Summers defends easily.

Marader is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Marader comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Summers changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marader looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Summers creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Summers is working to tighten is grip on Marader's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Marader has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Summers is really squeezing tight and eventually Marader passes out! Summers breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
