Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Jr Emilianko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gay Al (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Al checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Al drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Emilianko is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Al's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Emilianko tries to roll over but Al keeps him under control.
Al throwing shots but Emilianko is blocking nicely.
Al wants to control but Emilianko is keeping him busy.
Emilianko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Al is working away from the top position though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Emilianko fails to land with a series of punches.
Al throws a right and a left that Emilianko avoids nicely.
Al drives through and clinches with Emilianko against the cage.
Emilianko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Emilianko stuffs the takedown.
Al closes this distance looking for a takedown but Emilianko circles away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Emilianko.

Al shoots in but Emilianko avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Emilianko lands a big head kick that sends Al tumbling to the mat! Emilianko takes a step backwards and waves Al back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Al takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Al closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Emilianko connects with a good right hand that stumbles Al. Al circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Al is still on wobbly legs! Can Emilianko finish him?

Emilianko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Emilianko slips a nice elbow through Al's hands, connecting with Al's forehead.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Al sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Al goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Emilianko is on top in guard.
Emilianko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Emilianko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Al swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Emilianko is working hard here to advance position.

Al escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Emilianko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Al is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Al doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Emilianko counters with a body kick that stops Al in his tracks momentarily.
Al takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Nice uppercut lands for Emilianko. That snapped Al's head back.

Al's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Emilianko, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
