Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Duffeild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boyka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Duffeild's guard.
Boyka has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Boyka looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Duffeild with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Boyka connects with a nice short shot to Duffeild's temple.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Boyka is pressing down on Duffeild's thigh, looking to free his foot. Duffeild is holding on for now.

Boyka is looking for a kimura but Duffeild is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Boyka to get the leverage.
Duffeild has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boyka is working away from the top position though.
