Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miko Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hassan Fezzik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maia comes to the cage accompanied by Bulls on Parade. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maia drives through and clinches with Fezzik against the cage.
Maia tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Fezzik goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Fezzik is pressed up against the cage. Maia has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fezzik down to the mat. Fezzik avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Fezzik shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Maia is trying to defend but Fezzik finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Maia wants to stand back up but Fezzik manages to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maia is letting Fezzik control him for a moment.

Fezzik stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Maia throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Maia scores with a nice strike.
Maia blocks a head kick by Fezzik.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fezzik fails to land the takedown.
Maia lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Hassan Fezzik has been cut.
Maia tries a head kick but it misses.
Maia looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Maia pushes Fezzik up against the cage in a clinch.
Fezzik working hard to break the clinch.
Fezzik has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Maia avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Maia has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Fezzik clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Fezzik grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Maia.
Maia lands a shot to the body.

Fezzik is rocked!

That has opened up Hassan Fezzik's cut even more.
Maia is raining down hard shots and and Fezzik has had enough - he's tapped out due to the strikes!
