Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klein East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klubber Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). East comes to the cage accompanied by Cold as Ice- M.O.P.. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang scores with a one two! East had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
East buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
East looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
East tests Lang's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but East moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lang moves forwards but East connects with a nice, crisp jab.
East throws a lazy right hand but Lang sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from East. Lang does a little dance to reset his feet.
East shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lang as he avoids it easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as East accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lang can do anything to dispel that myth.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lang lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from East.

and East counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lang tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but East was well out of range. Poor timing from Lang.
Lang takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by East.
East cracks Lang with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and East makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

East throws a nice outside leg kick.
East scores with a hook to the body. Lang takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lang takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

East lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
East lands with a kick to the temple. Lang shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
East throws a leg kick which misses Lang's front leg but catches the back leg as Lang tries to avoid it.

Lang takes a body punch but keeps moving.

A chopping leg kick lands by East.
East feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lang's calf.
Lang takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lang's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
East connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
East scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
East lands a big head kick that sends Lang tumbling to the mat! East takes a step backwards and waves Lang back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Lang is rocked!
East dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Lang has had enough and taps out.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Klein East!
