Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Red Rum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Heines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heines closes the distance and pushes Rum back into the cage.
Rum is trying to drag Heines to the mat but Heines just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Heines scores with a shot to the side of Rum's head.
Rum has Heines pressed against the cage, preventing Heines from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Rum can't get the takedown.
A left hand lands to the body for Heines.
Rum looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Red Rum. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Heines is working Rum over against the cage.
Rum tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Heines just stands there and leans against the cage.
Heines is struggling to control the position.
Heines gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rum.
Rum letting Heines take a breather here.
Heines prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rum is breathing heavily.
Rum struggles to land a body shot inside as Heines controls his hands.
Heines lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Heines's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rum shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Heines defends it nicely.
Heines moves in looking to clinch but Rum pushes him off.

Heines sends Rum crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Heines is motioning to the referee to let Rum up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Red Rum has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Heines tries to clinch up but Rum circles away and keeps his distance.
Heines lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rum circles away quickly and effectively.
Heines swings for the body but Rum moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Heines misses with a looping right.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rum shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Heines defends it nicely.
Rum avoids the body shot from Heines.
Rum walks straight into a right hand from Heines - that's dropped him! Heines jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rum from any more punishment! Rum complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
