Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jericho Datu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Datu is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ridin Dirty. Jericho Datu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jello is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Datu avoids the body shot from Jello.
Jello tries to clinch up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jello throws a head kick but Datu moves out of range.
Datu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Datu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jello, who protects the arm well.
Datu scores with a couple of short elbows.

Datu tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Datu has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Jello knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Datu on the ground.
Jello is looking for a sweep.

Datu working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Datu is staying tight to Jello's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Jello is trying to get back to half guard.
Datu tries to score with some ground and pound. Jello controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Datu is working to tighten is grip on Jello's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jello has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Datu is really squeezing tight and eventually Jello passes out! Datu breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Jericho Datu! Jericho Datu retains his featherweight title!
