Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RJ Tenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Creed comes to the cage accompanied by James Brown - Living in America. Tenn is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bulls On Parade. RJ Tenn has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, RJ Tenn!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Creed connects with a body shot.
Creed missing with a left hand there. Tenn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Creed misses with a wild body shot.
Tenn checks the leg kick nicely there.
Creed throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tenn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Creed pinned against the cage. Creed gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Creed rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tenn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tenn takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Creed keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Apollo Creed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Tenn avoids the body shot from Creed.
Creed throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Creed misses with a wild body shot.
Creed throws a right and a left that Tenn avoids nicely.
Creed ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tenn moves away.
Nice shot lands for Creed.
Tenn moves out of range of the leg kick from Creed.
Creed lunges at Tenn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tenn's hand.
Creed punishes Tenn's body with a nice straight punch.
Tenn looks gassed!
Creed drops Tenn with a right and a left! Creed comes rushing in but Tenn regains his composure and manages to keep Creed in guard.

Tenn is rocked!
Creed knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tenn on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Creed tries to stand but Tenn is controlling from the bottom.

Tenn is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Creed working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Creed is looking to stand up but Tenn won't let him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Creed wants to pass the guard but Tenn is keeping the position.
Tenn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Creed is one step ahead there.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tenn is on top in guard.
Creed wants to stand but Tenn is controlling the position.
Tenn wants to pass the guard but Creed is keeping the position.
Creed is looking to stand up but Tenn isn't so interested in that idea.
Tenn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Creed swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Creed seems keen to control Tenn's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Creed pushes Tenn off and gets back to his feet.
Apollo Creed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tenn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tenn.
Tenn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Creed.
Some wild striking there from Creed.
Tenn dodges the punch combination from Creed.

Tenn scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Tenn passes to side control.

Creed tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tenn advances to mount.
Creed is trying to escape the mount.

Tenn is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Creed has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Creed tries to lock up and control but Tenn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Tenn jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Creed is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Creed and Tenn has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Creed wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Tenn stands up and beckons Creed to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Apollo Creed dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Creed lands with a shot to the body.
Creed scores with a jab to the head.
A punch lands to the side of Tenn 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Tenn takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Tenn is still on wobbly legs! Can Creed finish him?
Creed scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tenn doesn't seem bothered though.
Tenn seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A combination from Creed does no damage.
Creed lands with an uppercut that bounces Tenn off the cage and back into rage.
Creed changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Tenn closes the distance and clinches up with Creed, looking for a takedown. Tenn pushes Creed against the cage but Creed circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Creed is looking to wear down Tenn with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Tenn fails with a takedown attempt.
Creed looks to land a combination but Tenn avoids it well.
Apollo Creed is winning the standup battle so far.

Tenn shoots in for a takedown but Creed shows good takedown defense.
Apollo Creed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of RJ Tenn.
Creed lands a left and a right that sends Tenn crashing to the canvas! Creed dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like RJ Tenn has been cut.
Tenn is trying to escape the mount.
Tenn is breathing heavily.
Creed controlling from the full mount.
Tenn is in all sorts of trouble here.
Tenn regains half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Creed seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Creed is pressing down on Tenn's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tenn is holding on for now.
Creed tries to stand and escape but Tenn is controlling the position.
Tenn gets back to full guard.

Creed is posturing up here but Tenn has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Creed tries to roll out but it's too tight and Creed has to tap! Slick submission there by Tenn!
