Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roman Christos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christos's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hell's Ditch. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Silva!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christos throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.
Christos lands a right hook to the body.
Silva moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Christos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Silva looks for a takedown but Christos sprawls well.
Christos waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Silva.
A combination from Christos does no damage.

and Christos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Christos missing with a left hand there. Silva was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Christos comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Christos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Roman Christos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Silva.

Christos rushes Silva and presses him up against the cage.
Christos lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Christos stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Silva drops down looking for an ankle pick but Christos pulls his leg out and moves away.
Christos lands with an overhand left.
Roman Christos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Christos cracks Silva with a right hand to the side of the head.

Christos is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Christos fails in his attempt to clinch.

Christos throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.
Christos smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Christos works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Christos feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Silva sprawling to the canvas! Silva rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Christos finish him?!

Silva is rocked!

It looks like Mike Silva has been cut.
Christos connects with a nice cross there... Silva is looking wobbly and Christos recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Silva to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Christos jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
