The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez sizes up Mook with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Gary Mook has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Martinez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mook throws the left hand but Martinez avoids the punch easily.
Mook throws an overhand right that lands on Martinez's shoulder, as Martinez tries to avoid the shot.
Mook misses with a double jab.
Mook lands a nice shot to the body.
Mook throws a right and a left that both miss.

Mook takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mook should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
