Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oystein Aarseth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarkko Ruutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aarseth's entrance music is norwegian folk songs. A fine choice. Ruutu has chosen YMCA as his entrance music. Jarkko Ruutu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruutu looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Aarseth might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ruutu is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Aarseth defends it well.

Ruutu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Aarseth doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ruutu.

Ruutu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Aarseth pinned against the cage. Aarseth gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ruutu might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Aarseth kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
