The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Martin moves into the clinch successfully.
Reis looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Reis drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Martin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Martin gets control of Reis's arms and successfully pulls guard. Martin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Martin drops back looking for a leg! Reis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reis manages to kick Martin off! Martin jumps back into Reis's guard.
Martin is looking to work some ground and pound but Reis has wrist control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reis is looking for a triangle but Martin pushes his legs off easily.
Martin tries to free his leg and advance position but Reis is retaining full guard.
Reis keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully.
Martin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Reis kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Martin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
